Dan Smith and his son Mason, had an awesome fishing trip with us this week, catching over 50 bass, including Mason’s PB at 8lbs! We caught several on top water frogs and speed worms as well as live wild shiners. These guys drove all the way down from Chicago just to fish with us and it ended up paying off for Mason! After the cold front this week and possible temps being the lowest of 2025 will certainly spark spawning in the following weeks during the warming trend.
