Despite rainy conditions, we had an outstanding day on the water with a great family, landing over 80 bass, including 8 fish exceeding 5 pounds. The largest bass of the day weighed just under 8 pounds, with our biggest artificial catch coming in just under 6 pounds.
April, May, and June continue to be some of the most productive months of the year. Post-spawn bass are actively feeding, while a number of fish are still preparing to spawn, creating excellent opportunities for both numbers and trophy catches.
We are currently experiencing strong success using both artificial baits and live shiners. If you haven’t reserved your trip yet, now is the time—availability is limited, so be sure to secure your date soon.
